
The 26th Annual Illabo Country Music Stampede will be held in April 2013 and is the perfect setting for camping, singing around the campfire and lots of fun.
The Stampede is a Talent Quest and this year there will be a special prize of 4 hours Recording time at The Flying Fox Studios in Wagga Wagga sponsored by Grant Luhrs. Young and old can enter in the different sections which areas follows:
Veterans (50 years and over)
Vocal - Sub –Junior – 6 to 12 years.
Vocal – Junior -13 to 17 years.
Australian Bush Ballad – Junior.
Australian Bush Ballad – Senior.
Gospel - Junior.
Gospel - Senior.
Duo or Group.
Vocal – Senior.
The guest artists who will perform on Sunday are Craig Giles and Jay Podger. Craig Giles has been a professional recording artist for 25 years and 2013 will see the release of Craig's fourteenth album titled, "Craig Giles 25th Anniversary Album." Jay Podger is a singer/songwriter and yodeler. Jay is fast building a reputation for his true blue traditional style of country music.
All food and soft drinks are available at the ground over the weekend.There will be a number of raffles over the weekend with great prizes, including a swag!!
2013 will also be the first time 2AAAFM will broadcast from the grounds live on Saturday.
