Jennifer Read: By far one of the regions most experienced and qualified group fitness instructors, Jen has been working in the fitness industry for 20+ years. Jen’s qualifications include certificate III and IV in Fitness and is registered with Fitness Australia. She is certified Les Mills instructor in 4 programs – BODYPUMP, BODYSTEP, RPM and BODYCOMBAT and is also BODYATTACK trained. A certified THUMP (boxing) instructor, HEARTMOVES qualified and accredited, an older Adults Trainer as well as specializing in Children’s Fitness Jen also finds time to instruct Aqua classes. Steve ‘BEAR’ Lawson: Steve has been with the centres since it’s opening in 2003. He is a qualified fitness instructor having attained Cert III in Fitness and is registered with Fitness Australia. Steve has also attained Certificate IV in Exercise Nutrition. Keep an eye out for ‘Bear’ on the group fitness floor leading our Box-a-cise classes. Jennifer Malcolm: Relatively new to Group Fitness with 5 years experience as an instructor, Jen is qualifications include Certificate III in Fitness, registered with Fitness Australia. Jen is a certified Les Mills BODYSTEP and BODYPUMP instructor. Jen is also trained and accredited in Tai Chi and leads the weekly Tai Chi and Community Exercise classes. Kim Guthrie: Kim’s been on the scene for a few years now having joined the centre shortly after it opened. Her qualifications include Certificate III in Fitness and she is registered with Fitness Australia. Kim is a certified Les Mills BODYBALANCE instructor and also leads the Body Blast classes. Tracy Edwards: Also a long time employee, Tracy’s qualification include Certificate III in fitness, Les Mills BODYBALANCE, and is also trained in PUNCH-FIT. Tracy also instructs the Aqua Action classes. Charmaine Brodin: Our most recent qualified instructor to join our team, Charmaine is a certified Les Mills BODYSTEP instructor and has attained LMAP Group Exercise Leader qualifications. Paula Gilchrist: Paula joins us all the way from Temora and is currently undertaking studies in Certificate III in Fitness. Paula is trained in Les Mills RPM so look out for her on the bike. Adam Huard: Adam is our latest LMAP trainee to join the team. Adam is undertaking his GEL qualifications and is training in Les Mills BODYPUMP. |
