Athenium Theatre Available for Hire

Restoration work has been completed on the Athenium Theatre and Council is now in a position to make it available for hire.

Stage 1 of the refurbishment was completed in late 2010 following advice from Workshop1 Architects and included a new roof, insulation, structural stabilisation of the stage, updating and improving access and egress to meet the required standards and re painting of the exterior and interior. A new Cafe and toilet area were constructed adjacent to the Foyer and all electrical and hydraulic systems have been replaced and updated and rain water tanks have been installed.

This stage of the works will allow the Athenium Theatre to open to the public and regain its place as an important Community building in Junee.
