Rates Information
Rate Payment Dates

Rates may be paid in full, or by quarterly instalments. The instalment dates are as follows:

  • 1st Instalment - 31st August
  • 2nd Instalment - 30th November
  • 3rd Instalment - 28th February
  • 4th Instalment - 31st May

If you wish to pay the total amount due in full, payment should be made on or before the FIRST INSTALMENT DUE DATE.

 
Methods Of Payment

In Person - Rates may be paid by attending Council’s offices, located in Belmore Street, JUNEE. Payments can be made by cash, cheque or EFTPOS (debit cards only).

Telephone - For Credit Card payments contact us on (02) 6924 8100 between 9.00am and 4.30pm (a surcharge of 1.04% of the transaction amount applies).

By Mail - Detach the payment slip and return it together with your cheque to:

BPAY - Payments can be made directly from your Savings or Cheque account (not Credit Card accounts). The Biller Code is 716944 and the Reference number can be found on your Rate Notice. Contact your participating financial institution for details.

Direct Debit - Payments can be deducted from your Savings or Cheque account on a monthly or quarterly basis. A Direct Debit Request Form and Direct Debit Service Agreement are required to be completed and returned to Council.

 
Pensioner Rebates

You may be eligible to apply for a pensioner rebate if you hold a current pensioner concession card and are responsible for payment of rates. To find out if you are eligible read the attached information sheet - Applying for a Pensioner Concession. To apply for a pension rebate you must produce your pension card and complete a Pensioner Concession Application Form and return it to Council.
