Junee Local Environmental Plan 2020 Planning Proposal
Draft Amendement LEP20.01

Council has prepared a Planning Proposal to amend the Junee Local Environmental Plan 2012 (Draft Amendment LEP20.01).

The objective of the Planning Proposal is to add a new clause to the Junee Local Environmental Plan 2012 to enable exceptions to the minimum lot size for certain rural subdivisions, allowing flexibility in the application of minimum lot sizes in rural areas for suitable development. The planning proposal has been drafted in response to issues arising where some compatible rural development cannot legally occur due to 100ha minimum lot sizes.

The Planning Proposal will be on public exhibition at Council’s Office, 29 Belmore Street, Junee from Thursday 19 March until Friday 3 April 2020.
