Planning Proposal - Draft Amendment LEP19.01

Council has prepared a Planning Proposal to amend the Junee Local Environmental Plan 2012 (Draft Amendment LEP19.01).

The planning proposal seeks to reduce the nominated minimum lot size for subdivision affecting properties in Loughan Road from an existing 4,000m2 to a proposed 1,500m2 and aims to provide a transitional urban-rural settlement character in Loughan Road.

The Planning Proposal will be on public exhibition at Council’s Office, 29 Belmore Street, Junee and on Council’s website from Thursday 18 July until Friday 16 August 2019.

The Minister for Planning has issued an authorisation to exercise the functions of the Minister under Section 3.34(2) of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, 1979 to Junee Shire Council dated 8 July 2019, in the making of this plan.

Submissions on the Planning Proposal and draft amendment to the Junee Local Environmental Plan 2012 are required to be made in writing and received at Council by 5:00pm on Friday 16 August 2019. Submissions may be:

  • Delivered directly to Council office
  • Posted to The General Manager, Junee Shire Council, PO Box 93 Junee NSW 2663
  • Emailed to jsc@junee.nsw.gov.au
