New Midweek Train Service to Griffith

20 Feb 2019 4:07 PM -

Have your say!

NSW TrainLink is seeking feedback on a new midweek train service service between Griffith and Sydney, which is due to start operating later this year.

This extra service will provide customers more choice and flexibility to travel by train during the week, whether it be for work, school, competitions and medical appointments, shopping or to visit family and friends.

The proposed Griffith to Sydney service would depart either on Thursday or Friday, with the option for a morning or afternoon departure. The Sydney to Griffith service would operate either on Wednesday or Thursday with an early morning or midday departure.

It would complement the existing NSW TrainLink direct train service between Griffith and Sydney, which operates on weekends.

We want the community to get behind this new service, and are inviting them to attend one of the NSW TrainLink information sessions or stalls between 23 to 27 February to find out more information and provide feedback on when the train will operate.

Community members can provide feedback on the proposed trials up until 23 March 2019. I would appreciate your help in distributing the attached invitation to you network.

An information session will be held at the Junee Library on Wednesday, 27 February from  10am to 12 noon.
