The St Vincent de Paul Society is working with the Salvation Army to deliver the Australian Government’s Drought Community Support Initiative (DCSI) – Round 2 for eligible drought affected households.

Up to $3,000 per household is available to farmers, farm workers or farm suppliers/contractors who are struggling financially because of the drought. You must be over 18 years of age to apply, be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident, and live or work in an eligible Local Government Area.

Eligible households can apply for assistance by applying online at www.vinnies.org.au/droughthelp or by calling 1300 846 643.

Please note that only one DCSI payment, per round, per household, is eligible under the Initiative. Payments can cover expenses including groceries, vehicle maintenance, energy & utility bills, health & medical expenses.
