Starting from April 20th, Junee Shire Council’s One Road Authorisation is now live, enabling Traffic Live, Google Maps, and a few other selected third-party navigation tools to provide accurate information about roadworks, road closures, and other traffic flow disruptions. The Council has made the decision to participate in the One Road Program, which is facilitated by TfNSW, as it provides a standardised method for all Councils and state agencies to input information about road hazards. Through this program, road users can input their starting and ending locations, and then adjust their route based on estimated timings. The website will also provide information about rest areas and scheduled roadworks along the selected route, helping users plan their journey more effectively.
