No. The Homebound Service is free for those who qualify.
Registration for the Homebound Library Service may be made over the telephone if already a member. Non-members of the library will need to make arrangements with the library staff to join.
To help Library Staff choose the most appropriate material a reader profile with your preferences will be compiled. Deliveries are made by a member of the library team at a mutually acceptable time.
A Homebound library member may borrow up to 20 items at a time, for up to 2 months. Loan extensions may be arranged if a reservation has not been placed on the material. Unavailable items can be reserved or borrowed from other libraries through the inter-library loans system. Replacement costs may be incurred for any materials not returned to the library.
The Homebound Library Service will deliver regular and large print books, magazines, talking books, videocassettes, DVDs and CDs. Please contact your library if you would like to request specific items or information.
If you have any inquiries regarding the Homebound Service or wish to apply please contact the Junee Library on 02 6924 2111.
