Council is usually the first point of contact for events held in the Junee Shire. This is because traffic and transport management is only part of conducting a special event. Council also needs to consider such things as waste management, environmental protection, impact on local businesses and residents, restoration of damage and so on.

Any event which includes traffic management requires council approval.
