Junee Shire Council has changed their Request for Quotation (RFQ) process and a new platform is in use to simplify the procurement process. Request for Tender – T24-17 – Building & Trade Services Panel

Junee Shire Council is seeking submissions from appropriately qualified and experienced Tenderers for the provision of Building & Trade Services in accordance with the requirements identified in the agreement. The Building & Trade Services panel is being established to address high volume, low value works that are required to maintain our buildings and facilities in the local government area.

The panel contract arrangement for a T24-17 Building & Trade Services will facilitate an efficient process for Council in managing value, performance and regulatory compliance for our buildings and facilities.

The panel covers reactive and scheduled maintenance works, and project-related works under the following categories. Please refer to the Scope of Works for more information on the works that may be required.

Building & Trade Services Panel Categories

  • Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (replacement & servicing)
  • Builder/Carpentry (general, installation, head beams, trimmings etc)
  • Demolition and Asbestos removal
  • Electrical (treatment plant pumps & generator connect/disconnect etc)
  • Fencing and Gates
  • Metal Fabrication
  • Painting
  • Plastering
  • Plumbing/Roofing, Drainage, Gas Fitting (sewer extensions/connections etc)

Junee Shire Council reserves the right to increase or reduce the scope of works prior to commencement, and during the works/financial year to meet budgetary obligations.

The contract will be initially signed for one year. Council may extend the agreement up to two (2) occurrences, for another one-year period, subject to the re-signing of the Contractor agreement by the Contractor and Council, provision of the appropriate updated insurances/certifications and rates before expiry and a review conducted by Council based on the assessment of the Contractor’s prior performance and submitted rates.

The successful Tenderer/Contractor shall be required to hold and maintain suitable trade certifications/licences, public liability insurance, workers compensation insurance and all other relevant insurances.
