Junee Shire Council will carry out a Pindone rabbit baiting program at the Junee Wetlands from 20–24 April 2026 to reduce rabbit numbers and protect the environment.
Free feeding (unbaited carrots) will take place from 14–17 April 2026 to prepare for baiting.
All baited areas will be signed and fenced, and the public must follow all access directions. Pets must be restrained, as non‑target animals may be affected. Anyone suspecting accidental poisoning should seek immediate veterinary assistance.
